The dearest kerb in the country, charged on Sunday and on public holidays. The garage is cheaper, and the park and ride carries five of you in for €8.50.

Park free at Noord and ride in for €2.55 there and back. The centre kerb is €3.70 an hour and climbs to €5.30, and a towed car goes to Beek.

A €4.20 tram P+R ticket parks the car all day and carries up to seven people into town. Put the French Crit'Air sticker on the windscreen first: the whole Eurométropole is a low-emission zone.

The whole city is a low-emission zone and the centre a stricter one, and neither knows your foreign plate. Register it, or park at the line — a metro ticket makes the park and ride free.

Two hours in the central blue zone cost €1.70 and you cannot buy a third; a garage day is €23.95. Register a foreign plate for the ZBE before you drive in.

Cameras guard the Albaicín, the Realejo and parts of the centre, so park at the edge: €29.95 a day at Puerta Real, €13.95 through the app at Escolapios.

A blue band on the street machine means €5 for 24 hours. The cathedral charges for sightseeing since July 2026, and every car needs the green sticker.

A towed car is usually moved round the corner, not stolen. €4 an hour in Mitte, free on Sunday except in zone 29, and charging bays that cost nothing to park in.

Free park and ride on the U-Bahn, a €1-an-hour garage across the river, and €4 an hour at the kerb. The cathedral garage is 1.95 m high and shuts at midnight.

The garage by the Rhine bills per started hour, up to €42 a day; the one under the K20 is €2 an hour and €10 overnight. The Altstadt kerb is €4.50 an hour until 22:00.

The zone here is not a charge you can pay. It is a standard your car either meets or does not.

Two charges before you park: £18 for the central zone, £12.50 for the ULEZ, and a foreign car counts as failing until you register it. Then a garage at £38 a day, or a Tube car park at £11.
